Casey Don Yeager

Casey was raised around the ranches and oilfields of the west Texas town of Fort Stockton. Music has always been a part of his life. In his younger days he sang with the church and school choirs. At the age of 21 he was given a guitar and he began teaching himself to play.

After graduating from  Sul Ross State University, he moved to Austin, Texas. He began working as a backup singer and rhythm  guitar player. He played many of the venues on Austin's famous 6th street.

A few years later, he started his own band named 'Coyote Ranch'. The band played country, blues, folk and rock. The focus was on playing private and corporate parties, weddings and special events.

Throughout this time, Casey always worked on songwriting, and playing as many solo and duet gigs as were possible. You will find influences from gospel, cowboy, pop, blues, rock, country and swing in his writing as well as in live performance.

In 2010 he completed his CD, 'Strong and Sturdy'. You most certainly will find a little something for every taste in the music of the CD.

Casey is currently based out of Riedering am Simssee. He plays for many private parties and small events. People of all ages enjoy his way of playing, singing and entertaining. He also stays busy working with a theater in Riedering. He plays and sings before and after the theater productions. He also does a little acting as well.

With so many influences, it is difficult to put Casey's music into a specific genre. When you hear him play and sing you will come to understand the depth of his musical soul.

You can take the boy  out Texas, but, you can't take Texas out of the boy.
